If Motorbase do have shiny new cars then and the rumoured Rory and Sheds then they'll shuffle up the grid, period. Might take several rounds or even a whole season, but with class like that behind the wheel they'll do good.

They're two bloody good drivers who will identify where the car is weak/ strong so that the engineers can fettle it properly.

Yep TPCR is a 2 year deal with AmD to run the Audi’s and don’t think the cars will change. Really would love to see Jake in one of AmD’s Honda’s, but we know he can drag results out of the Audi if he stays put. Jake proved the Audi can win races given the right opportunity, something that surprised a lot of people. Hoping we’ll see at least either an AmD announcement or TPCR one before Christmas.

Anything's possible. I would of thought Bartrum would be after better metal than a smaller teams cast offs however... especially if their is a juicy corporate sponsor lined up. But who knows. Maybe we could see Motorbase running different types of cars?

Personally I'd like to see Flash materialise in a new 'onda at BTC. Rory in RWD is an exciting prospect...

Or maybe the Moffats are moving them on for another series: the original story was they'd bought them to assess potential with a view to running them in TCT. But Aidan ran in a badly prepared Alfa instead and was hard done by some garbage stewarding so they walked away.

If the Infiniti had any potential, there wouldn't be a need to build two new cars. As the old cars stand, why would Motorbase feel the need to buy two cars no better, possibly worse than what they already have?

Having followed this forum long enough, those dropping the hints at new Fords for Motorbase are the ‘ones in the know’, so I really do not expect a change to a different car. Just a newer version of what they’ve got. I also heard the very same rumour third hand but from a good source

I dont see that happen not in a couple of years

VW has announced that its going fully electric and Audi has said that they are not building a new TCR Car.

SEAT/Cupra are supposedly still building a new Leon TCR
Audi still has its DTM GT3/GT4 Programmes
Lamborghini and Bentley have GT3 programmes
Porsche has its GT Programme
Skoda has its R5 Fabia even VW are still producing their Polo R5
Ducati has motogp and super bikes
