The Millington one is a 4M4 and is used by Dennis Marshall and also Simon Mauger has won an event with one.

Just to clarify, Rob Gibson still has his rallycross 6R4 which is now in relgular use in the Ripla Retro Rallycross Series, which for 2015 will be at every round of the British Rallycross Championship.

The bodyshell for Rob's car is the original Will Gollop 6R4, which was originally 'all white' in 1986 before using the red and blue Mobil colours for the following year or two.

I've been in the car (at speed at Lydden Hill ) and have been given this information directly from Rob himself.

He had an ex-works 6R4 too, but that was sold, sadly!!

Hope this helps clarify things a bit.

David Sims and Nicky Lindon will be able to provide information on many of the other 6R4s still around and perhaps information on still others that are no longer icomplete.

Cheers, Steve
