fatbloke should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
I've heard reports that Erja may be pregnant, and this is what is affecting Mika this year. Could it be that she's not, and just they've been trying too hard ? Maybe the poor lad's knackered!

I read somewhere that Cubehead wasn't allowed to be playful at night time after his plane shunt....looks there are problems everywhere over at McLaren....Ron should sit them down and give them a talking too....

What a terrifying thought... Ron Dennis as Dr Ruth Westheimer.

Ack!

Back to the original question:
It might explain Mika's sense of distraction this season-he doesn't seen to be all there, maybe this is the reason?

"Daddy, Daddy, tell me a bedtime story."

"UUhhh.......Ummmm..Once.....Uhh...Upon a time, But first I would like to say this about that....Uhhhh,.....Yes....Ummm."

okay - I have to add more to this....after reading the posts and the question for what it is, I am suddenly filled with a curious question myself..

Guys... would it reallyaffect you?

Has it affected you? If your Girlfriend/Wife was pregnant, would it distract you from your work, make you consider mortality (in the sense of being more careful/responsible in life)??

Do tell...

To be honest, Diabando, of course it would, and I can say that from experience.

However, for whatever reason, Hakinnen has not be nearly so effective this season as he was over the past two years-though the slide began in the second half of last season.
For whatever reason, the fire seems to have cooled and despite the fact that I have been a Hakinnen fan since he drove for Lotus, I'm cheering for DC this year. In a race car, Mika is exibiting a serious case of the "I-don't-give-a-sh!ts."

Hakkinen may not give a sh!t now, he's going to get loads of it as soon as the baby's born.

Well, I can't speak from experience as an expectant father - not yet - although there was that scare one time....

...no - enough of that.

But my sister is in the final few days of her term, and her first child, my first nephew or niece, is about 17 days from estimated arrival.

And I am frankly going spare. Is my sis okay? Does she need anything? Is my brother-in-law looking after her? Can I get anything from the shops? Perhaps a book to read while waiting for the midwife?

I know our Sue. She will be totally fine. Me? I'm a gibbering wreck.
