FISCAR are running The Tom Cole Trophy race at Spring Start this year. A 30 minute race without pit stop we already have some very good entries in.

The Tom Cole Trophy race is now oversubscribed. It has some very special cars in it and one which hasn't ever been raced in the UK as far as I can find out. This race should be a feast for spectators and there is also an all Frazer Nash race as well as the usual splendid selection of VSCC races.

I hope so, John. You'll love some of the cars we've got coming. VSCC told me today that all races are oversubscribed so full grids all round, by the looks of it.

Brian A should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Final instructions and entry list arrived this afternoon.

A mouth watering entry list, very well subscribed. Worth a visit just to stroll around the paddock!

Take a look....

The Nash Healey entered in our Tom Cole race to be driven by Sam Stretton is the car that came 3rd behind the two Mercs at Le Mans in 1952. As far as I can it has never raced in the UK.

As far as I can tell the last time it raced in the UK, was at Silverstone in 1951 when it had a Coupe body on it. It was crashed in the 1952 Mille Miglia and rebuilt with an open body just in time for its epic run at Le Mans and is how it appears now.

Just home from a chilly Sillystone.
Great wander around the paddock/pits and the racing was very good.
Big grids and a huge crowd for a 'clubbie' event.

The FIScar grid did Mr T proud

Will post some pictures in due course

Just got home - always a pleasure to leave Silverstone . Great meeting, good days racing, as usual the VSCC put on a good show and even included an Autosolo event which I think was a first for them.

Knackered now! Still things could be worse - oh just realised they are - I'm timekeeping at Croft tomorrow and the last race of the day is a 2-hour 2CV race!!!!

Let them run 30 minutes then send the safety car out for the remaining time. That should give you plenty of time for a power nap in between them passing the timing line.

I assume the safety car can maintain a suitably low speed ....
