Interesting to see at the Masters Historic support race that the cars that have Cigarette sponsoring on them have had the sponsoring removed.
Very strange and really not a good look.Hope this is only for this weekend. |

I must confess not completely M'Sport related but my first day at Work beckons tomorrow. Only a summer job. Blooming nervous but going to get past that.
Silverstone in 2 weeks will be pushing me on hopefully. |

Enjoy it Will, think of the money
Hmmm my reading of the cigarette sponsorship laws is that if it is the *actual* car then they can run the original livery in the interest of historical accuracy. If the livery is changed, does this mean none of the cars are original? Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk |

Toujours une bonne idée de rappeler aux gens mon ami, je parle par expérience. Profitez de la vie quand vous êtes encore jeune! Bien aussi jeune que la femme que tu ressens. Joyeux anniversaire cher Gerry Mohammad. La Bauble |

Belated Birthday wishes, Gerard, from somewhere near Nuremberg, according to my SatNav.......
Clever of you not to have your Birthdate listed on the forum, so we can’t make jokes about your age...... |

Merci beaucoup, Iain, very kind of you. The Classic requests the same budget and organisation as Le Mans Classic and two of the E Types available have been severely damaged during Tour Auto. Next week we've to bring at least one new bonnet and some bits and bobs. Good news is that they will be better than ever!
Stoke Row Motor Sport days sounds tempting may be next year! Do you know when you'll be on this continent next time? |

Welcome thomaspanton! Your location shown as ‘SC’..... Safety Car?
Gerard, on the way through your lovely country yesterday I was passed by an immaculate CX, probably a high spec, GTi or Turbo, from the rear window blinds and wheels. The wonderful thing was, it was sitting in the outside lane going the same pace as all the modern (mostly German) stuff, and looked perfectly at home doing so! Some older cars look quite uncomfortable going the same speed as modern traffic..... Seems Hungary has quite an affection for French cars, as there were lots on display last weekend. I’m going to post a few pics when home and have WiFi that works....... |

Just seen that they've been testing a Gulf 917 at Donington today.

So, I survived the 4600km round trip to Hungaroring and back, as did the truck, but sadly my specs didn’t- completely flattened after being run over in the paddock when they fell from my pocket..... Just had to bite the bullet and order 2 new pairs as I lost another pair last year!

If basic reading specs suffice the choice is wide and the prices low. If the needs are more complex - very different needs for each eye for example - it's a bit more specialised but apparently even that can be accommodated via on-line ordering. Could be a great way of obtaining some low cost "paddock use" semi-disposables? |

I bought some on line cheapies. Horrible. Nothing like the photographs. Not at all comfortable.
