It may just be the shot, but as hard as you look, there is no site of "Yoda's Phone" on the car. That would be the only reason to run the 021 number as 021 is the "Yoda's Phone" suffix in NZ.

GTR: You are right about the Hyundai Construction Equipment.

The car actually looks better as it doesn't have a whole lot of NASCAR-style, "size 10 font" names all over it.

If "Yoda's Phone" have left, Hyundai's arrival could have been VERY timely.

The more I look at the TKR version the more I am starting to hate it- what a shame a perfectly good team ruined by what has to be one of the top 5 Worst paint jobs for 2004.

The Hyundai logo will have come off since the pic was taken, and replaced, it did not look quite right, so has been modified. The problem you have when you have sponsors is that sometimes you have to use their actual logo, the Hyundai one is their actual logo. There is also more signwriting to go on (Will be on by now)

Hi All

I thought I would do the simple thing and ask TKR's Martin Collins about the vodafone sponsorship, and they are definitely still on board, so will be 021 for the rest of the year. As Evomike said, the placement and size of stickers is not finalised just yet

I just hope they do well this weekend - GO the kiwis

That Vodafone isnt on the car doesnt mean the sponsor has left the team. The car will revert to the #021 number in Adelaide...

I think the silver fern on the bonnet is the worst part of the car design, also does the TKR need to be there as well? Ive been in contact with Martin Collins and he wants to talk with me about this design they have come up with and why they went for it. I think the problem is that hyundai has such a bad logo, and it just wont work on the side of any holden.

The windscreen logo is the commercial name of Tourism NZ - "100% Pure New Zealand".

Apparently the name is hot on the lips of the film industry after our recent successes in MovieLand with Whale Rider, The Last Samurai, and The Lord of The Rings Trilogy.

Keisha Castle-Hughes is home with 1000 tonnes of MovieLand freebies for her amazing performance in Whale Rider.

Having met some of the LOTR lot - Orlando Bloom and Elijah Wood to name a couple, these MovieLand types are actually pretty down-to-earth people, by and large.
