Analysis

People did significantly better than in Australia with regards to predicting drivers in their exact finishing position; it was 3/80 in Australia and 15/80 here.

Winner ApexTurtle was the only competitor to get as many as eight top ten finishers predicted, while championship leader smellysocks and Born Racer Fan got the highest number in their correct finishing positions with three apiece.

If we shouldn't feel surprised by Leclerc's success, the contest would not suggest that, as only wolfhound predicted his fastest lap, gert his podium and crmalcolm his Driver of the Grand Prix poll win, while no-one anticipated his pole.

Qualifying was less successful than in Australia. There, two predicted the top three correctly, while this time, only two entrants predicted anyone in the correct top three in qualifying - Notso Swift with Vettel 2nd and gert with Hamilton 3rd.

As in Australia, only one person predicted the Rate the Grand Prix score, it being me this time round; no-one else ventured higher than a seven.

This time round, more people were successful in guessing the fastest pit stop winner (five, as opposed to two in Melbourne), but as in Round 1, three competitors guessed Mercedes would win the Team of the Grand Prix poll.
