track 66 is based on old British circuits like brands hatch and Goodwood with a few revisions like straightening the front straight, tightening T1 and adding tighter corners while leaving most of the original layout useable. track is anticlockwise and has 12 corners on its main layout(middle T3 used in main layout). scale is 1cm=30cm, giving the front straight a length of 540m(18cm) and a track length of 3.750km(125cm).

Track 67 is a circuit which has some very steep sections, maybe even too steep to be realistic. but its not like this'll go further than RFactor, so stuff it.
Track is anti-clockwise, contains 20 corners, and is 4.24km in length. track is divided into 3 sectors. Sector 1 is between the S/F line and T5. sector is 1.35km long and drops 50m in altitude after the kink on the S/F straight. Sector 2 starts at T5 and ends between T13-14 and climbs 80m from T5. sector is 1.14km in length. this sector is designed so drivers would use a lower gear longer to keep up momentum and make fuel saving harder. Sector 3 covers the rest of the lap, spans 1.75km and drops 30m between T14 and T19. |

Track 69 is an anticlockwise street style permanent course which I messed up the scaling of. scale is 1cm=30m, giving the front straight a length of 600m(20cm). back straight without chicane is also 600m, 240m to chicane,210m after. designed for TCR racing.

hi all and welcome to 2022, and i start the year by releasing a track that is probably the most buildable track i have published to date. Track 71 is built for NASCAR, being one half banked oval and one half road course. track runs anti clockwise with the scale being 1cm=25m, giving the front straight a length of 725m(29cm) and a track length of 2.4km (96cm), or 1.4 miles. T1 has 2 variants, the main outer one is 375m long with a banking of 15 degrees, while the inner one is completely flat. the back straight is 475m before T2, and the end of sector 1. T2 dips a meter before T3 before climbing through the kink T4 to a peak of 6m at the hairpin T5. the straight from T4 to T5 is 100m, as is the straight from T5 to T6. T6&7 is a downhill s with sector 2 ending at the exit of T7. straight from T7 to the T8,9&10 chicane is 175m. S/F line is 375m from the final corner, and 350m to T1.

Tracks 66 and 67 (especially the latter) are pretty darn good.
Regarding track 71, I would like to mention that years ago, a designer on this very board created a hybrid track of half short-oval, half temporary street circuit which I found to be a particularly intriguing concept (maybe you can find "Syracuse" somewhere in the archives, if the gmap-pedometer link still exists. Your track layout reminds me very much of that concept. |

Its another month, so its time for Track 72. Track 72 is an anti-clockwise circuit with 17 corners. scale is 1cm=30m, giving the front straight a length of 690m(23cm).

Track 73 is another anti clockwise circuit and is fairly simple for my standards with only 13 corners. scale is 1cm=40m, giving the front straight of 560m(14cm) and a track length of 5.480km(137cm)

Not bad, although some of the corners are a bit square, like you would see on a street circuit. But I've seen a lot worse to be fair

Track 74 is an anti clockwise track I'm not really sure what level it should be in terms of club or national. scale is 1cm=30m, giving the front straight a length of 330m (11cm). from T4 the track drops in altitude all the way down to just before T9, starting to climb at the apex of T9 before returning to original altitude before the final chicane.

That looks good, it's hard to see what sort of racing it would cater for though. Could be good for Aussie Supercars. But finding exactly the right altitude will be hard

track 75 is an anti-clockwise layout aimed at open wheel racing series. T1 is a wide entry, sweeping corner that narrows towards the exit. the final chicane is designed to be a faster 4th gear flip flop more than a tight 2nd gear chicane. the other feature would be the triplets corners of T9,10 and 11, with a tighter version of T10 available. scale is 1cm=25m, giving the front straight a length of 675m (27cm)
