Bravo for kamikaze666 (CB), sauber11 (TT) and Senna4ever (CB), the winners of the last round of the season! Only three users put Nunes among R1 point scorers, while Razia was completely out the radar of the predictors...
On Drivers Championship round, chunterer (TT) won with total class; despite he didn't predict Kobayashi as Champion, he notched seven of eight first of the Teams Champ, four in the correct position! Congrats to him!
Observations of R06 Sakhir predictions:
- Bubu (TH): Put Petrov twice (3rd and 6th) on his R1 predictions, so that parts of his forecast weren't valid.
- On all predictions, it was considered Chandhok x Buurman on driver replacements.

With all round results cleared, we present...

The second edition of the GP2 Asia prediction competition, against all odds, finished with success! And after many changes on the leaderboard, on R03 Sakhir rounds it started to shine what was finally our main hero. That man is OJB (TT), who is the new Champion of 2009 GP2 Asia Two Worlds Prediction Competition! He's the winner of this quest for glory and deserves a great applause by all us, after the accuracy he showed on GP2 Asia predictions. CHEERFUL CONGRATULATIONS to him!!!

And great congrats to Ten-Tenths, that one more time showed its motivation and interest deserves a prize on this winter GP2 competition, never giving up on their way to victory. Congratulations to all Ten-Tenthers for this!

Forum Ramblings

Ramblings about forum progressions in the 2009 GP2 Asia Two Worlds Prediction Competition:

Ten-Tenths: One more time, the founder forum of F3000/GP2 TWPC claimed to be one step beyond over the rest, winning in almost all rounds and having good round scores. Champion OJB and runners-up chunterer and sauber11 were the best trio of this season, on the forum that is almost the moniker for GP2 World.

ClubF1: On its debut season on Asia series, they were the great revelation. They often won rounds and even had a championship contender. The best score was headed by myself, as a runner-up of the title, and kamikaze666 was best second with two consecutive round wins. Hope they could mantain its level during the main season editions.

GlobalF1: After some promise at the start of the season, in the eve of 2009 suffered some lack of interest and went down on the standings. Despite many efforts by JB-F1 and Speedworx, their best scorers, they can't do better than 3rd this time. At least they could win a single round and could refill their energies for the main seasons that will start soon.

Actualidad TheF1: They only had three concursants, and spearheaded by melendi, who did a remarkable champ even being a title contender, they did their tiny but fruitful effort at the back of the Forums Champ. At last rounds, they almost could take 3rd from GlobalF1, but they missed it by that much. With still Spanish teams and drivers, the main forum of the Spanish F1 community could make another charge for the principal seasons.

And now, you could note that I said "main seasons" instead "main season". That's because since this year, Two Worlds Prediction Competition will aboard not one but two racing series: GP2 Series, as usual, and newly-formed Formula 2. Both will be separate championship, although it could be recognized an overall champion, honorifically. GP2 TWPC will start very soon and will aboard practically all forums where it was run on last edition, whilst F2 TWPC will start ad mid-May at selected forums, principally European ones. On the best spirit of "Jeux Sans Frontiéres", hope it will be fun for all us and could live good times alongside 2008 GP2 Series and Formula 2 seasons.

44 points, not too bad, GP2 predictions are so hard considering the unpredictability of the drivers so I'm happy with my position.

Can't wait to predict GP2 and F2 .

Wow, so close at the top of the standings!

Congratulations to OJB for his championship win and thanks to Mekola for organising everything once again.

I'm quite satisfied with 8th overall. Somehow I forgot to enter the Dubai round back in December, so I was quite relieved when they cancelled the second race of the weekend
