The return to Tasmania, for one of its favourite sons, Marcos Ambrose.

Three races for the Tasmanian Super Sprint round of the V8SC Championship series, 2x 60km races on Saturday, 1x 200km race on Sunday.

Symmons Plains traditionally favours a strong engine and great braking performance at the best hairpin in the country...

The usual suspects should be on the money here, 888, Tekno, HRT & maybe PRA..

Will we be surprised by another squad performing well? Has DJRTP got a strong engine this year?

Worth going to Symmons Plains if you ever get a chance. I went in 2013 & had a ball, can see majority of the action from any part of the track...

Always throws up a few surprises with weather, and with points up for grabs it should be game on!

Hooooooooly wow.

The prang at the GP was no good but he has not exactly been a disgrace, and can you imagine the TV he would get in Tassie?

Can Pye really do that much better? Is DJRTP just sussing that out?

That would depend on how many tasmanians have foxtel. Attendance is probably going to take a nose dive unless they make ambrose do some massive signing session.

I don't think Foxtel TV Guide is right. From what I saw there is:
8.30pm on ONE for V8 Supercar highlights - Saturday night
11.45pm on TEN for V8 Supercar highlights - Saturday night
2pm on TEN for RPM - Sunday afternoon
8.30pm on ONE for V8 Supercar highlights - Sunday night

There is no 4pm Sundays or 11.30pm Sundays on TEN at this stage. So Speedcafe was wrong

Ten could easily double up on Empire for the night. Ten has to stick to it, for what they signed up for. I think you could be right in a way. 4pm is surely a definite considering its part of the RPM 4pm Sundays.

Since Ten is moving RPM to 2pm just for that day I wonder what will happen on the GC 600 weekend? Ten promised us highlights of practice and qualifying on the Sunday for Formula 1 races that Ten don't show live. Will the network move RPM to One?
