If this is what constitutes complaint or controversy in the BTCC... My our standards of off-track bickering are dissapointing in 2015!

the irony is Honda could really benefit from as strong Motorbase result by them stealing valuable points from BMR

with that powerful engine and no ballast we could very likely have Mat Jackson getting pole and a lights to flag finish

OUCH

Shedden 2nd with full ballast and JP only 10th on the supposed BMR track?

Shedden deserves the title this year

expect more moaning about the Motorbase boost

With only 4 corners, the Focus might not suffer as much here with success ballast. Could be a double in race 1 & 2 tomorrow.

Missed qualifying, but what a shocker from Plato. Will the red mist come down or is he going to be sensible or patient

P10 is a tough call. The usual pitlane start gambit is a much more definite points sacrifice than when you're down in the high teens. Gonna be interesting to see how this one pans out.

It will be fascinating. I've tipped Jason all season for the title, and I was confident with the last two tracks suiting both the CC and him that he would win it. After qualifying however I've got to say I now fancy Flash to win it.

In non-championship contender news it's great to see Dave Newsham up the right end of the grid. Would love to see him get a long overdue podium again!

Why did I agree to work between 4 and 8 today? What an idiot I am

Just wondering: Where are all these cars in the Ginetta Supercup suddenly coming from? Last time I watched one of their races (which admittedly was a bit ago) they were down to around a dozen of cars...

A few come from Ginetta trying to entice customers for next year. 2 cars are Nissan GT Academy winners who are gaining experience ahead of the Dubai 24 hours.
A couple of them like Stilp are doing a few races ahead of potential seasons next year.

Speaking of the support series, you can tell Whorton-Eales was once in Mr Plato's academy can't you! Very similar to that race between Plato and Jordan around here in 2013...

Verbal warning for Plato - can't give out penalties to these title contenders can we?!

looking at the standings

Colin Turkington has a nice lead in the Indy title so he won't go out empty handed this season, another title to his name

That's because Plato has probably missed out on scoring the independent points at times due to his race 2 gambles.

James Cole had a great run, what a shame Plato proved he was a leopard again, about time a proper message was sent out

Flash for the title, great racing from Jackson, Colin, and Andy.

MG has been good this year, but it's never been the best. For it to win needs to be in the lap of the gods i.e. Race 3.

Proper message will be demotion to the back of the grid following third strike. It's a system that works as it doesn't affect present race results and drivers know the line. Shedden also has two strikes, both need to be careful at Brands. Penalties have been consistent this year.

Must say and this will be contentious, that Plato wouldn't have got past the Ford any other way. Like it or lump it, the Ford was too fast for the VW on the straight.

3 points -

Quote:
4.4.5 Any driver who has received three reprimands (including verbal and/or written warnings and/or any such penalty as may relate to driving standards) will, on receiving the third reprimand, be given the additional penalty of starting the next available race from the rear of the grid and a deduction of three points from their Championship tally in the Drivers Championship and, if applicable, the Independent.Drivers Championship. This same penalty will continue to apply to a driver’s every third reprimand, relating to driving standards, thereafter.

Oh great, let's let drivers take the law into their own hands when they can't get past
