Happy to run our 59 speedster in plateau 2 though as it does “resemble” a pre-A!!!!

You know that the world works in mysterious ways, Will- including the world of PA! I’m sure your disc brakes would be welcome in 2.......

I got facts wrong earlier, the period E (on HTP) Morgan owner thinks those with period F on their papers should run in Plateau 4 while his car runs in 3. The homologation spec of the cars would be the same, so makes some sense for them to be on same grid.....

The selva is in G4
Can it be changed to G3?
Sure it was thought about in early 60’s so that makes it G3!
Still waiting for extra people to make up teams or apart from Will , BMW Gang are there no other drivers/entrants on here?

Er no, too bloomin’ quick!

I was considering coming up with a plan to get the Speedster into Plateau 1, but then thought how quick the grumpy Irish one is in the Talbot, so reconsidered pretty quickly....we would never hear the end of it if he beat us !!

I'm working this event, in the ACO members lounge with Scalextric. So if any Ten tenthers want a play come on over, we will have some GT40s, MKIV Fords and various other cars on a classic layout for you all to use.

Its been on my bucket list to attend for years so for once i'm actually excited to go to work over a weekend....

I'm sure Tornado were 'thinking' about LeMans in '61. I wouldn't be the first one to 'fabricate' some history if it got me an entry . . .

There is a good chance we will be venturing down to Le Mans for this one.
Question is, where to stay ? Need something within 20 mins in reality.
Any ideas before i waste an evening trawling.

The team I have worked with before isn’t going to Classic Le Mans this year. I’ll be going to CLM anyway – anyone need a spanner man? I’m a qualified mechanic with experience of historic racing. PM me for full CV

Unexpectedly we now have a spare camper van/truck pass and a modern car pass and a few paddock passes for the Houx camping area. PM me if you need any of the above, thanks.

Hey Iain, you will certainly need your tickets to get in. I would suggest giving Isobel at Peter Auto a call, she is very helpful....it appears there have been several issues with tickets this year...

Am I right in thinking this thread is all about competitors, as I have had no ticket issues going as a punter. Everything seems fine!
