This was/is a clue, what sheltered lives you lot have lead.

Funny how the only puzle to attract any attention features a toothsome female.

None of the Prefect's at my school looked like her (and if she was an Angler surely she would be carrying a fishing rod?)

Maybe she was born under the sign of the Zodiac? And she might have been Poplar with the boys!

OK, so I got five out of six (eventually).
Unlike you, an obviously well travelled & Worldly-Wise chap I have lived quite a sheltered life Baub!
Mind you, I still think my answers were all correct, just not the ones you were looking for (as someone else has said!)

Paid for? Does that mean it is left hand drive?

ie a left hooker

Edit: Just realise that part of the question has now been answered.
It was a left hooker. well an (LHD) Escort.

I suspect that most posters on the historic section, are in the older age bracket, and with old age comes the effects of the years slipping by, fading memory, slowing of cognotive powers, a general slowing down of the brain's respose time, etc.

To combat these matters it is a good policy to exersice the brain, as well as the body, therefore Dr. Bauble's Picture Puzzles are ideal for helping you to keep sharp mentally, spending some time working out the answers will prolong the ability to reason, solve problems, and retain a health sense of self-worth.
I hope to see more of you elderly types contributing to the discussion, and entering into the spirit of the puzzles. It is for your own good, don't waste precious years in a mental decline, grasp the thistle, and transform your life.

Dr Bob. Oops! er Baub.

With reasoning such as that, I will not even try!

However it is not a Dolphinm but a Porpoise, porpoising, and probably has a sore back.

Oh - I beg to differ. The title of the image is 'spotted-dolphin-porpoising-ogasawara-isl-hiroya-minakuchi.jpg'. The image you have used is of a Northeastern Offshore Spotted Dolphin from this website - https://oceanservice.noaa.gov/facts/..._porpoise.html

If you had used an image of a porpoise, then it would have been clearer.
The difference between dolphins and porpoises.

'The difference between a dolphin and a porpoise has to do with their appearance: dolphins have longer snouts, bigger mouths, more curved dorsal fins, and longer, leaner bodies than porpoises.'

Now - if you are going to insist that porpoise is the clue, then the car in question is clearly a Chang Jiang EV.

Why?
Well you have suggested that the porpoise is related to a sore back. I think this is a devious reference to the 'Yangtze finless porpoise'. (finless / sore back). As everyone here will clearly know, The Tian-e-Zhou Oxbow Nature Reserve has worked for years to protect these porpoises. The reserve is sponsored by the Chinese government, World Wildlife Fund, the Coca-Cola Company, amongst others.
Which gives us the answer as Yangtze. Yangtze Motor is also known as Chang Jiang EV - and produced models including the one pictured.

You might be fairly devious with your picture puzzles Baub, but I won't be beaten on this one.
