Just wondering, is there a permanent structure in the way that prevents using the pre-1996 layout, or did they just choose to change the last two corners for the 1996 season, and all subsequent events held there?

Thank you for the news. It's nice to see Tomas back though I would have hoped it would have been on an oval - or preferrably on all the remaining ovals.
I'm somewhat surprised to see D&R fill the #24 seat with different drivers during Mike Conway's absence. Here's hoping that Buddy Rice will also get the drive at one point. He'd really deserve a comeback in the series. |

This is probably my favorite of the old-CART street courses. Racing was always good with two really good passing opportunities and more for some of the more ""creative"" minds to fill a helmet in the old CART days.
Still it's tough to look at turn 3 and not remember `96. |
