WRC car photos from NZ

right, at long last a few slides I had scanned have been returned to me to be posted here; all are of WRC cars going through the Brooks stage at the railway bridge north of Paparoa on day 1. I should add that it was absolutely p***ing down during these shots, so any funny spots that you can see is actually rain

Tommi Makkinen mid jump, mid bridge. It was hammering down at this stage, thank god the guy in front of me had an umbrella, I could hide my camera under it while shooting!

A couple of the Safety marshalls who keep spectatots and non professional photographers behind the barriers.

But seriously without guys ( and gals) like this at the NZ rally it would never be held. Great job guys, our event is amongst the best in the world.

Ah, that new Focus is just marvellous, shame, that the paintjob is dullest possible.
