Zanardi to race at LM
Alex Zanardi has stated his desire to race at Lm in the near future, but only with close pals Max Papis and Jimmy Vasser. He has given no idea about when or in what class (probably GT) but he said he wanted it to be a low key affair.

 Hmm.... Wild guess here would be a Ferrari Dino in a few years. Paddle shift, and the hand brake and throttle probably wouldn't be too hard to set up. Perhaps if they ask early enough they could even get dispensation from the ACO to use an electronic setup which wouldn't get in the way of Vasser and Papis? |

I hope this happens. It would be great to see Zanardi racing again. And in Sportscars! He was great in that Lotus.

They could make the steering wheel removable (assuming it would be electronic/electric and not cable controls) so that the other drivers wouldn't have the controls get in their way.
I'd pay to see him at Le Mans, Mosport, wherever else... Come on out, Alessandro! |

Ooo! And maybe they could get major sponsorship from Sony or Microsoft or some other company that makes video game controllers, so they could both perfect and promote their "force feedback" technology!!!
 I'm sure Alex is going to want feeback through his braking control, seat-of-the-pants driver that he is.

What about Jason Watt whos just won a touring car championship using hand controls. He aims to race in an international championship in 2003.
