It will be a different at/on track experience for all. Waving flags is quintessential motorsport, I hope they at least wave a green flag to start and a checkered at the end!

I think they view it as possibly cancelled. And it is not helped by being on the same day as The Open in the morning and Cup race on USA in the afternoon. There really isn't space for the race on the big show or USA that day

In other news, ESPN is confirmed to air IndyCar in Latin America (including Brazil). It's not clear if any races will air on the linear channels, or if all will be exclusive to Star+. To be fair, that's the same situation as Formula 1.

And for many cable consumers in the US it can be free with the cable sign-in. USA races have been removed from streaming on Peacock, possibly to be allowed with cable verification.

Peacock only for Toronto is a make the best of a tight day situation rather than a full move to streaming only model test

Toronto will almost certainly be broadcast in Canada on Sportsnet, CityTV, or another Canadian channel as it has been in recent years. That won't help non-Canadian viewers though...
