Was organised to attend and spend the day kicking tyres and (by the forecast) avoiding the northerly wind. However, am now taking race kit for the 2 driver 40 minute race in the afternoon.....

Yes, a lot of people say that- but it’s gone..... Maybe changing to a one day meeting was due to other factors, but the Sunday afternoon 4hr relay was popular with many racers / teams in the past. Shame.

Superb late September weather at Snet, but unfortunately the ARV6 is broke. I had 20 minutes in it for familiarisation and Q, then on first lap of the Morgan Challenge race with owner aboard, the clutch appeared to break....

So now going back to carry on with car prep for next weekend......

Completely off topic, but ‘EX’ was a Great Yarmouth suffix at the time the Escort was first registered by the area RS dealer, then became a Norfolk issue when all the local ones were combined. I had an RS2000 registered ‘MEX’, which was most confusing......

Well that would indeed be confusing to those who were not aware of the EX connection but somewhat aware of the Escort models.

Size matters.

I had not realised that Mike enjoys fishing.

We should have a sub-thread for "Seen and heard in an MSV cafe."
