I think that the main reason for the hordes of 911's is
a.There are so many of them. They are cheap tried and tested after all, teams select them for that. b.Chances are that you will be there at the end, if a slow trouble free run, you might just win the class. c.They can be used in just about any type of race. Personally, I really do not mind them. The pit crews are often helpful and welcome us to the pit on the Friday walk. Also some races would be very empty without them. S |

911's are like ants at a picnic or in a zoo- the're are more of them than anything else they are hearty and tough and when you root for the lion- you see the ant even crawl all over it.
