Sad, sad day. Kevin might not have been the quickest but he was a guy I always cheered for as he had a passion for racing and was doing something he loved.
This puts into perspective any argueing about anything to do with racing thats gone on over recent weeks. I'm not sure I want to go to Thruxton tomorrow now. Rest In Peace Lloydy - you were a top man |

Barber on pole for both races, Storckenfeldt second to him in the first and Conway on the front row with him in the second. Lets hope for a good, clean, safe race

What was the logic behind a standlone second event at Thruxton, when there's a huge gap between This event and Croft in the *end* of *July*

Teams couldn't budget a trip to Mondello and theres no other major national meeting between now and then apart from the SRW at Donington.
Plus it was a renault 30th anniversey celebration weekend so they would want all their championships there. I here racing for the day was cancelled following Lloydies incident...does anyone know if racing will go ahead as planned tomorrow still? Its just I've gotta drive down tomorrow and don't want it to be a wasted trip. Last edited by Gaz; 29 May 2004 at 19:55. |

Reckon anyone will bother with DP? With the Italians having Monza that weekend they'll need grid fillers (they have a pitiful 17 at Brno this wknd) and there's a matter of pride at stake.

I'm sure Lloydy would have wished for racing to continue and I'm pretty confident it will.
Seems MCs struggled for pace today. It was only in that last session he looked anywhere near Wezs pace. Good job by Alex Storckenfeldt as well after his Oulton nightmare. Hope Matt Russells Ok, heard he had a mighty roll out the back this morning and is now out for the weekend. Also such a shame that Ruben has ran out of funds as he was certainly doing an excellent job. Seems like last weekends needless shunt has put pay to his season... at this point i should probably remind people that the name of the fatality today hasn't been released, and that jamie p-e was working along the process of elimination on the mst timesheet from the event.

Anyone who was at that part of the circuit would know, but of course the police have to make sure next of kin and family are informed before they'd release a name.
