Danny Watts moving to an Italian team?

Dunno if it's worth opening a new thread, but this morning italian source are reporting Danny Watts close to an Italian team, Ombra, rto race in the Euroseries: it would be extremely inteersting, since Ombra is rumoured to become Mugen's official team for this championship.
Any confirmations from elsewhere?

Oh! I though first he would race in the Italian F3. Euroseries then? Ok.
Ombra seems to be a good team, despite "ombra" means "shadow" in Italian.

ombra are ok but look at it this way they kind of won the italian title all though not in my eyes but when ghinzani did a race at monza they blew everyone away with a one two in both races. but were hacking around in 25th place or further back in the euroseries.

that was discussed on the panam renault thread when it happened.

i think the euroseries would be pretty much the only place to go, but with an italian team? hmm.

Something wrong with Italian teams? Prema are very, very good, for instance.

In the meantime, and off topic (slightly) and certainly way out of forum, Danny is competing in the Porsche Carrera Cup race at Sepang next weekend. At least someone appreciates his ability...

Possibly in contention for the AKA Pan American FRV6 drive which would be good.
