if he is fast, then indeed he can work thru traffic, but alas, sometimes practice times/speeds can be irrelevant, too...it's a bit "busier" at the start than in practice, and should be (as always is at Dover) some what unnerving, for spectactors and drivers alike.

good grief....i was wrong on all fronts on sunday....
john paul had one of his best races of the year. good thing he got past the "big one" which took out some good cars mired at the rear.

JPM will have a good few race win opportunities in the next several weeks. If he can perform well, he could still land in the top 12...

Pretty unlikely now though. Three Gibbs cars, three Hendrick cars, revitalised Kasey Kahne, the Childress gang all looking strong....a tall order now really.

I'm surprised to see how close Smoke is to missing the cut though, could he be having another 2006? The year has not been a good one for him.

there's always Watkins Glen and Sonoma. even if his team is half way together, he should do well at those tracks....but, it would be a miracle to make it last all the way to richmond.
