Nice April Fool's Joke...

It says all IndyCar engines will run under VW power in 2011 but they forgot to mention Honda is committed to the IRL until at least 2013. So they may be one of the engine manufacturers but they will not be the only one.

This picture was already in the April issue of Racecar Engineering I received some time ago. I found it very peculiar when I read it. Only now I realize the timing of the news

P38 in workshop has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
I gave a hint on this thread http://tentenths.com/forum/showthread.php?t=114193 .A two litre W16?A six cylinder diesel might have been plausible.
The always excellent www.autoextremist.com is particularly good on racing topics this week.
