[Official] Predictions Contest 2016 - Round 2 of 21 - Bahrain Grand Prix - Results

The prediction results of the Bahrain Grand Prix are in. Congratulations to EBXR8 who is this round's winner with 97 points, shooting him up to second in the standings. Although it's earlier days, the championship battle is already shaping up nicely, with some close contenders and some gaps starting to form.

EBXR8 is one of the four competitors (50%) who correctly predicted Nico Rosberg as the race winner. There were also four entrants who correctly predicted the qualifying order of Hamilton – Rosberg – Vettel earning them a total of 5 points.

As always, though, the big points were for the race itself and two users predicted six drivers in their correct positions, which I think is impressive stuff. These were Grandpa_Rob with Hamilton, Ricciardo, Verstappen, Kvyat, Massa and Bottas and Bahrain winner EBXR8 with Rosberg, Hamilton, Ricciardo, Verstappen, Kvyat and Massa.

Curiously, five people correctly predicted Felipe Massa as eight place finisher.

I am quite far from the top of the championship battle at this time, but I was the only person to predict Stoffel Vandoorne as Ten-Tenths Driver of the Grand Prix, Williams as the team with the fastest pitstop and one of two to predict that the race would be rated a 7 in the Ten-Tenths poll. Greem was the only person to guess that Haas would be voted on the forum as Team of the Grand Prix.
