Winton Fun Day - Jan-23-'05

The next Winton Fun Day is on next Sunday (January 23).

Come along in your car (road or race) and enjoy the fun for $20.00 per driver (or passenger).

Scruitineering starts at 8.00 am.

It is a great day to see what it is like to drive a race circuit.

YOU need:
* A helmet
* Fire proof clothing from wrist to ankle (cotton, etc)
* Some common sense

Your CAR needs:
* No oil/coolant leaks
* Battery secure
* No loose objects in the boot or inside (including driver )
* To be 'race or road' safe
* Seat belts
# No cage or other techincal mods.

Just be aware that there are people on the track with you that are experienced race drivers as well as novice road drivers.

The next one is down for mid July, I will post when later.

DKGandBH has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
Don't you need a Fire Extinguisher that is securely mounted ?

A fire extinghuiser is not a requirementt for the Fun Day, however if you were to go on and participate in the Winton Sprint Series, then you would require one.

The Fun Day is another way of saying it is 'Come and Try Day'.
