DSM should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid

Think I'd need to be paid more than that to go over there and race one of those cars.

Im not knocking the Vee at all, infact Im trying to book a few races in the coming weeks (if they have any more availabilities) Though I meant in terms of the Thunder Arabia cars have wings, so from that point of view its a better car for the price no?

Not really. They have vestigial wings, which means they sort of look like wings but are of neutral profile. In the event they were generally treated as bumpers, and certainly only served some sort of safety, not performance,
purpose.

Add a not very handsome body package, thin treaded tyres and you had a pretty ugly, easy but unrewarding to drive package, that served little purpose overall. and it was little wonder the Zip died at a young age!

Unless, of course, they have had proper wings added? In which case I withdraw my comments, except the ugly bit!

Just looked on TA site. Even they seem shy of showing a full picture of the cars but I eventually found one elsewhere.

I'm off to bed now, need to lie down.

Is that similar to the wings on FBMW cars? I've heard they are largely artificial and create nothing like the downforce that wings do on FR cars, for instance.

I was never a fan of the Zip, it's a disgusting looking car! So does anyone know about the FBMW wings?

I would think that the FBMW wings create some downforce but the majority is produced from the low ride height, undertray and diffuser which is the same with the FR, certainly until the recent bodywork changes.

With the Zip the 'wings' were totally neutral, same profile above and below, nothing more than safety devices.
