I don't think there are any discounts, but don't do what my uncle did and book via Haymarket for the privilage of going on the Friday and paying an extra £10 per ticket for it. We normally book direct and go as trade members.

Yes, you do get a Discount. Go to the Trade site, and click upon book tickets, then MSA Marshal, and punch in your number for £5 off.
I'm hoping to be there as Media this year. we can dream can't we? |

Not according to the MSA book which we got recently. Just go through trade route as previously posted.
If you're a member of BRSCC then you can apply for a free ticket again through the trade section of the site |

According to the marshals/ msa rescue newsletter you should go to the public site and put in a promotion code to get your 5 pounds off. I guess you could do it by taking you card with you.

The Motor Sports Association has concluded an arrangement with Haymarket Exhibitions to offer MSA members a £5 discount on weekend tickets for the Autosport International show at the NEC on 10-11 January 2009. The offer is open to all MSA competition licence holders, registered marshals and licensed officials who will need to produce their 2008 or 2009 MSA licence when entering the show using their discounted ticket. In order to book MSA-discounted tickets to Autosport International, please visit the Haymarket ticketing website at www.autosport-international.com/public/msa, then click on “book tickets”. Enter the following promo code: MSAGM09 to receive your discount, or call 0844 579 3188 and quote the above code. Bookings must be made by 31 December 2008. Please call in to the BMMC stand and say hello! |

MSAGM09 doesn't appear to work for a discount on the Friday if I want to get into the show when I'm going to the Watkins Lecture

Hi Folks
Just to let you know that the BMMC stand will be in hall 8 (Stand 8010) which is next to the MIA stand and close to the Live Action Arena entrance. Look forward to seeing you there! Eric |

Both the trade days are open to MSA licence holders. Its probably too late to book online now but take your MSA licence with you and produce it to book in on the day.

Has anybody been yet? I'm thinking of going tomorrow, Sunday, and would like to know if it's worth the expense?

There were two Autosport show discussions in the Marshals forum so I have merged them.
If you really want a "is it worth it" thread try Autosport Show - Rip Off! |

Well I had a full day there today and a trip to the live action arena too.
On the way back out of there I called around the BMMC stand to see if I could see any "faces". I did say a quick hello to "Matthews Dad". He was in full flow with a few people around him which was good to see, so my apologies for not hanging about longer. Everyone else on the stand was in a conversation with someone too, so let's hope good things come from it. Well done to you all. |

Sorry to have missed you Elliot, I was stuck down by suspected food poisoning on Friday night so left the stand Saturday afternoon, names were being taken a fairly good rate so hopefully we will have some new faces in 2009!
