Sodemo2 should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Does anyone here miss Tarquini?

I thought Tarquini was by far the best thing in the BTCC last year, his driving style is even more spectacular to watch then Yvan Muller (from inside the car, did you see his arms working?)

He can also overtake, and make stupid mistakes.

I don't miss him - I saw him at Silverstone a month ago.

And now for the funny story....

My mate wanted a photo of her with him so camera at the ready we stalked the paddock. Tarquini was found and Sandra stood there arm in arm with him. Just as I am lining up the shot my husband calls out 'mind where you are putting your hands!' - Tarkers says 'who me?' and I reply 'no not you - Sandra!!'. At that point I took the photo of Sandra going exceedingly red and Tarkers killing himself laughing.

The one problem was - later on that day, the film got snarled up and was lost! Aaahhh! Now that would have been a brilliant photo.

Tarquini was far more exciting in the Alfa and I looked forward to seeing more of that in the Honda last year, but it just didn't seem to happen.

Tarquini was a pretty exciting racer, especially from the in-car views! He was also a pretty cool guy in person. Did any1 ever meet Giampiero Simoni? If so, was he okay?

He did not really do it for me. Just was not the correct driver for ther BTCC. I think we would be better off without him. Bye Bye and never come back.

Very funny, that's just the way he is. Still, you have to like the way he drives.
