Great pole and win by Turvey, the Racing Steps Foundation have indeed chosen the right driver when you look at his performances in F3 and now WSbR in Monaco. Good point strider, I think Bucharest was Turvey's first street circuit race and he's taken to them like a duck to water. Was very quick in Macau too at his first visit. Good to see Walker doing well too, his experience is paying dividends and it needs to this year. Strange that Adrian Valles was beaten by his rookie team-mate van Der Drift considering all his WSbR and GP2 experience, he even finished 4th here last year with BCN! Also impressed too by Sten Pentus, he is an under-rated driver, but is doing ok, especially his driver to 2nd in Barcelona. Considering he hasn't really achieved any results in Formula Renault, he's doing better in the races than Fauzy who has been around for ages. Coletti picks up a point on his debut too.

I do indeed!!
However I'm simply trying to promote discussion for the thread and encourage others to post. Thanks for posting the results, much appreciated by all I suspect. Interesting point by runshaw about the Epsilon drivers. I've always though that Valles is a pretty decent driver but maybe Van Der Drift is on another level? Certainly one of the most naturally talented young driver around. |

He qualified in 15th place and then in the race he received two drive-through penalties for cutting the chicanes. He did set the fastest lap of the race, however. Monaco was his last confirmed race for Tech 1 Racing, although there is a possibility he could race in Hungary over the weekend of 13/14 June as there is no clash with the F3 Euroseries.
What a difference a year makes. At this stage last year, Giedo van der Garde came away from Monaco with a huge 29 point advantage over Mikhail Aleshin, but it's a whole lot closer this season: 1. Marcos Martinez - 47 Points 2. Bertrand Baguette - 43 3. James Walker - 38 4. Oliver Turvey - 31 5. Miguel Molina - 30 6. Adrian Zaugg - 26 I'm so happy for Oliver Turvey. He was near-perfect all weekend and thoroughly deserves his victory. It's even more impressive considering it was only his fifth WSR race and he'd never driven at Monaco before. Baguette and Walker continue to be there or thereabouts, racking up the points consistently whilst Zaugg continues to be my star of the season, taking a superb second place in Monaco to leave him sixth overall. I'm still a little curious about what Charles Pic is up to. He's yet to record a podium place so far this year and he's languishing in ninth in the standings. He'll need to up his game soon though before the gap to the front-runners starts to get too big. |

Why is Zaugg your star of the season? True, he is doing a great job considering his very late entry, but thats what I expect from someone with all the A1GP and GP2 experience that he has under his belt. He even did extremely well in WSbR in his couple of outings in 2006. His results are solid if unspectacular (IMO!)

He was on for about 6th or so. Was proper fast in the race too. Just a 1 off deal at this stage. SuperLeague is the focus but he might look at a few rounds of WSR if they fall right and the budget permits etc. |

As Hartley,Maki,Ricciardo,Wickens confirmed it means Bortolotti or more likely Aleshin will drive WSR race in hungaroring. |
