Wasn't there, but David Addison has said on Twitter that there were some significant post-race exclusions in the Legends, guess they were 'lively' then

What a fantastic days racing, Legends very lively as ever, even when they got out of there cars in the scruteneering bay. 5 of them coming into the hairpin on the last lap, just amazing.
Has any one heard how the driver of car 34 in the legends race is ????

Just what I needed - another written report, on the last lap of the last race. My immediate thoughts, seeing who was involved, were that I didn't need to rush home, as that could have ended up as a Stewards' enquiry.

A good day at the Hairpin, despite a severe case of writer's cramp - one more race & I'd have been asking for more report forms. I've spent my raffle prize on pens!

M Greenslade should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
In 37 years of marshalling at Mallory Park I have never done Post 1 before, very interesting, very quick, particularly when a legend hits the pit lane armco at full chat and spins all down the start/finish line ending up stranded facing the wrong way in the middle of the track, thank heavens next time around was the flag...... Apparently telescopes and mountaineering equipment are required if on post 4 which has now been moved back in to Oxfordshire, ridiculous........

Hope the legend driver is OK, car looked a bit of a mess though.

Bladders......

Oh dear! Glad everyone had a good days racing- now can see nothing from Gerrards, even need binoculars to see the numbers! (I'm not joking!). I trust the necessary ammendments will be done to make the post workable before the next meeting, whether it be bikes or cars. A total disgrace, but many thanks to all to who came out to inspect it.

As the post chief on post 9 Esses In I would like to say a big thank you to all my team and the rescue and medical teams for the supurb way that the major incident in the second legends race was handled and cleared up. when the car spun in middle of pack and cars going both sides in avoidance a car towards back of field had nowhere to go but heavily into spun car that had stopped broadside across track. This injured and trapped driver of spun car in his car. I understand that driver was taken to LRI with leg and chest injuries. I have heard nothing further about the extent of these injuries. Apart from this and a pickup stopped straight on in a dangerous position resulting in request for safety car to clear this up a good days racing with a good team on post. We did not have to say much to trainee on taster day on post with us because he saw what we did first hand but had some good questions afterwards.

For anyone interested, the Legends Series website has posted a short statement of the injured driver's condition.
http://www.legendsracinguk.com/news/...t-john-bell-34
I wish him a speedy recovery and hope that will be on the grid again soon.

It was a good days racing from my vantage point at the hairpin. Lots of good close clean racing (with a little bit of not so clean at the end!). The Legends certainly lived up to the reputation I'd heard about them!
Was slightly disappointed that some of the races were cut short compared to what was in the programme, although I'm sure there were reasons. The Pickups and two Legends races that went full distance were over far too quickly!!
