[Official] 2013 Fantasy F1 Comp Entry Thread

Welcome to the 2013 Fantasy competition.

I've tried to keep the rules and points as similar to last year as possible but obviously there are only 11 teams rather than last year so this has to be taken into consideration.

Here we go then...

Teams
our Team shall be made up of 2 Drivers, a constructor and and Engine Supplier,from the table included in the attachment.

You may not pick 2 drivers from the same team, nor pick a constructor from which one of the Drivers comes from.

You are allowed to Match your Engine and Constructor to the real world, or choose your own combination.

All 4 components of your teams (2 Drivers, your constructor and Engine Supplier) must not exceed the mandatory budget cap of 100,000

Please submit your team in the fashion below including the cost of each component total value

Each team shall be unique, if you submit a combination already selected you'll be asked to pick again.

Race Points

The race points shall be awarded as last year.

Drivers from 25pts for a win to 3 for a non scoring finish
Constructors and Engines from 10pts for a win down to 1 point for Non Scoring Finish


Bonuses & Penalties

Qualification

Last season saw the introduction of Qually bonus points for reaching Qually sessions 2 and 3 as well as Pole.
These remain the same as Last year however only 6 drop from Q1 with Q2 consisting of 16 Drivers with 10 going into Q3 as per usual.
Driver: Pole = 5, Q3 = 2 Q2 = 1
Constructor Pole =3 Both Cars in Q3 = 1
Engine: Pole = 3 2 Engines from different constructors in Q3 = 1 **
Last season these were subject to grid place penalty - this year in a change they are NOT.
Theses bonuses are purely based on times.

Race bonuses remain as last year,
Fastest Lap, Leading a lap and most laps lead for the drivers
Fastest Lap and Lead most Laps for the Constructor
Fastest Lap and lead most laps for the Engine manufacturer

The Gain Loss Points of + or Minus 2 points remains the same and will be scored from the 5 minute to Race Start (TV sting) and the official results.

Penalties

DNQ Penalties remain as last year
Not allowed to Race - Driver 75 points, Constructor 10
Allowed to Race - Driver 50

Should a Driver and Team be subject to a Grid Penalty,

A penalty of 2 points on the driver and 1 point on the Constructor will be enforced against each place dropped.
For Example a 3 place grid drop will see the driver penalised -6 pts to his overall race score and -3 pts against the Constructors Score.

DNF caused by Accident/accident damage will not be penalised (although may be subject to future Grid drop penalty if stewards apportion blame)
DNF caused by Technical Failure will be penalised 5 points.

There is no specific penalty for Engine failures this season.
However the use of an additional engine over the allocated number will result in a 10 point penalty the Engine Manufacturer.

Replacements/Substitutions

Should A driver be replaced through Injury/ budgetary considerations / any other reason:
The replacement driver will automatically be swapped into your Team.

Should this Driver have driven for another constructor earlier in this season meaning that your Team now breaks the rules:
Don't Worry about it.

Should you not want a replacement Driver or Choose to make a Tactical Driver Substitution then you can:
You are entitled to one Free Driver Change (More will cost 20 points each)
You may not change your constructor or Engine Supplier

Overall Scores

Driver: Race points +/- position points + Qually Bonus + Fastest Lap + Most Laps Lead + Lead a lap - DNQ - Grid Drop = Race Total
Constructor: Race Points Car 1 + Race Points Car 2 + Qually Bonus + Most Laps Lead Bonus - DNQ - Grid Drop - DNF = Constructor Total
Engine: Race Points Best Engine Constructor 1 + Race points Best Engine Constructor 2 + Qually Bonus + Most Laps Lead Bonus - Extra Engine = Engine Total **

** as Cosworth are only powering one team . Both Cars will count for Points.
