Thanks to Ben and the team on post 10 for coping with constant target practice and blustery conditions.

I had the TV on all afternoon - almost as good as being there! And Bill was on Post 1 so I had plenty opportunity to watch him: even so far as phoning him to comment on him sitting on the Armco between races!

This was the first time I'd seen the Legends racing, and I have to agree with everyone that they are *brilliant*.
Had a proper laugh on post 7, a couple of near misses, some pull-offs and a fire at the end of the second Metro race. The driver didn't know his car was on fire until someone waved an extinguisher at him! Great day all round. |

Cracking day's racing, remarkably quiet at the hairpin apart from a temporary Formula Ford carpark. Proof if proof were needed that club level provides the best racing out there (and a welcome change after spending Sunday solo flagging on Wellington Straight).
