The DTM is looking at a forth away day during next season. Which curcuit gets your vote?

Errr the only circuit you haven't put down....... Donnington

It would be as cheap as racing abroad could be, cos they'd just drive to thier local Airport in Germany and get a Cargo flight to East Midlands Airport, then fall out of the plane into the paddock. Might evan be cheaper than traveling to some of the German circuits

Brands GP gets my vote. Top track. Just watching those beasties jump over dingle dell on the opening lap would be worth the entrance ticket all on its own.

I would happily travel to either Donington Park or Silverstone to watch DTM

Donnington park isn't a listed option i'm afraid. The DTM are still deciding wether to race at Spa or Zolder too. Like theres any competition, it's gotta be Spa!

Given the choice I'd much rather got to Brands (GP track that is) than Silverstone but as the proposed date clashes with BTCC @ Knockhill it might as well run in Timbuctoo.

I'd watch DTM over British Bumper Cars anyday. Also, knockhill is a bit of a long way to go just to watch. So if DTM was down here I'm sure they'd pull in a big crowd.

I hadn't realised the date clash until Craig pointed it out. Personally, along with the choice made by a number of other people who've posted here, I'd like to see it run at Donington. Why isn't that being considered? I thought it was when there were rumours of the DTM coming over here in the 2001 season? Silverstone is never that inspiring and as for Brands, much as I like it was a circuit, it's one heck of a drive for me
Hmmm, if we do get the DTM I don't know what to do because Knockhill is a great little circuit and I'm looking forward to going back there to watch the BTCC.

Have Spa and Zolder been in the running to possibly get a round of the DTM all the time? I don't recall having heard them mentioned until Pink posted about them.

Mr Shoes sir, are you honestly saying that in a straight choice you'd rather drag yourself up to Scotland to pee behind wooden screens and watch the BTCC run round in slightly mis-shaped circles at Knockhill than you would go to Silverstone or Donny to watch DTM???
Especially if Menu was in it for you to shout "ARSE!!!" at??!

Incidentally, no-one's considered that it might run at Rockingham on the road course...

I happen to like Knockhill. Ok, so it's cold and wet but so was Brands last time I was there. Plus I'm legally and morally obliged to go to every BTCC round next year. Maybe Aggghhh, I hate these sort of decisions

Rockingham hasn't been mentioned because it was only Brands and Silverstone on the DTM's provisional calendar. Rockingham and Donny aren't being considered.

If I were a betting man my money would be on Mugello anyway.

Think yourselves all lucky that you have the 'hassle' of deciding which circuit to go to. I've only got Knockhill to see the BTCC...

Why??!! There's nothing to like about it, it's even less exciting than the Brands Hatch Indy Circuit, which is quite some achievement!

Fair point - can't argue with any of that. My money would have been on Mugello too, but I put it all on Leeds United tonight, and lost the lot
Both Rockingham and Donny should be considered, Donington is a far better circuit that Brands Hatch could ever dream of being.

All IMHO as always...

Oh and I think the point about Mr. Menu was one of the best I've made this year! I though Ten-Tenthers hated him even more than Luke Hines or Garry Paffett...??!

Ahh, but at least Knockhill is fun to drive, unlike Brands Indy. The Glenvarigil (you know what I mean) bit is amazing.
Hmm, or at least it was last year. But I haven't driven it with the new kerbs and that could have taken away some of the excitment, not sure.

Paffett might also be in DTM next year, so if you hate him (I didn't know this, I'm only new) then you can shout at him whilst you are shouting at Menu.
