New dimension in Rally TV
Apparently the Virtual Spectator software promised for the last couple of months will be launched with television coverage for this weekend's Tour de Corse.
This gives broadcasters access to the entire stage and enables viewers to compare the performance of drivers through selected special stages as though the cars were on the stage together at the same time. So look out for it on your local TV coverage, and let us know what you think. (From demos I've seen it looks like a Touring Car race when all the cars are together) |

Saw that on Eurosport. I like it, it gives you a good impression of how much 6 seconds really is in terms of distance on the road.

Yeah, fantastic new innovation.
I'm really starting to like the feed which Foxtel here in Australia is showing from each day's competition. I think the best bit from the final day was when Solberg went up to Burns with a microphone- "So, how do you think you go on this final stage?" To which Burns replied "I can't understand what you are saying."
