She had movement in her toes. Good news.
There is a "thread" in the gravel trap where people can send "get well messages" to Ashley. I put it in the gravel trap because I believe this goes beyond single seat racing and fans of all types of racing may want to let Ashley know of their desire to see her get well. |

Yup, she was taking it very carefully, and holding back other cars for most of it... very conservative drive, but finished 4th.
I did a very extensive interview with her too, where she basically told her story in detail from accident to recovery - a very good read about recovering from a major injury, even if you're not interested in racing. It should be posted in the Ten-Tenths newsletter next weekend, as well as www.rfmsports.com very soon. I have to say though, I've never seen anything like the media attention she got during the weekend for a FF driver. There must have been 20 photographers around her when she got out of her car - only the Player's drivers had more. |
