Archer should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Adelaide is set up and ready to race!

Hello all,
Im new here and I hope to contribute and have abit of fun with you all over the coming season, you'll also find me over on the Champ Car anf F1 forums, I dont know if any of you are interested but there are usually some great topics over there.

Anyway, Living in the good township of Adelaide Ive been keeping an eye on the track and it is my pleasure to announce it is almost finished apart from the minor details and the pits which usually take the longest (hence three weeks to go) but the stands and fences and track in general is there.

The V8 season is apon us ladies and gentelmen!

Adelaide's industrial relations scene is very sensitive at the moment and while the structures may be in place, electrotechnology may not be wholly on line.

The Industrial Parties are facing off over an EBA.

Archer, have you seen the layout of the back swipper??? The one joining the back 2 straights where Glenn, Rat & Ellery crashied last year??? Is it still the same as last year, or have they made some changes based on last years event??
Thanks

Joe, they usually leave the positioning of those barriers till the last minute, as it obviously requires closing off Bartels and Dequettiville. I would say that this would be done the week before the race. Have to say it always looks fantastic driving past everyday, only 3 weeks to go! Can't wait!

Yep, its all starting to come together. I had a drive around there last night. Still needs a lot of paint, but hey they are just mere details.

Yeah true about the sweeper, not a word has been said so I presume it will stay the same, if the y make a change it will be at the last minute.

A week before the race i often ride my bike around the whole track and see what's changed. I also went today with Forbesy and they have put up the stands and seats. The pits weren't fully finished including race control etc. They've started putting in tyre barries and painting the cement ones aswell along pit straight.
