jadlamracing should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Brscc Special Meeting?

What do any of you think of the changes BRSCC are trying to rush through?
Do you realise the changes it will make at local level?
What is behind the thinking?

Would seem the intention is to "centralise" all centres race meetings so HQ runs all race meetings, presumably to give HQ something to do!
Seems a bit of a kick in the teeth for the centres, i also hear that the list of directors is to decrease, would think that DALY and Diz can shed more light on this subject

Think its a good thing for ff1600. big steps forward this year, even talk about tv. this forum is full of talk of ff1600. go back a year and compare, the more talk good or bad means more publicity, all good in my view. think its in it a club formula. i do worry certain individuals think they are bigger than ff1600 and try to change things to suit them. there are people racing pre 70 to post 00 needs a balance as its a club event. yes change the rules if turns semi etc but leave it untill it does. roll on the 2004 season, the structure is very positive.

Think the likes of daly have done the sport proud on and off track.

I believe the intention is to do away with the Centre Directors and replace all six with a single representative who would speak for them all

A step forward ???

Might I suggest you check out the "BRSCC call EGM" thread in National & Club Racing?

DALY should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
The EGM was called for members to vote on ONE resolution, namely the reduction of the number of directors by removing centre directors and having one person represent the 6 centres.

This is nothing to do with the day to day management of the club by the paid executives and staff. The decision regarding the centralisation of entries was a management decision, already taken.

It could however lead to further radical decisions being made without the centres being involved. (Centres are made up of members)

Which ever way you look at it, it is worth making an effort to vote either way. 3000+ MEMBERS cannot let 15 or 20 people decide the future of the club.
