That is fantastic news - sadly I will not be watching, as I don't have Motor's TV. We have Telewest instead of Sky. Thank god for the ALMS Radio Web......

LMES are in discussions with Motors TV, and I suspect Sky Sports. The ELMS had full live ceoverage on Sky Sports in 2001.

LMES highlights should be on Max Power, Motorsport Mudial and hopefully World Motorsport (they did cover FIA SCC).

And I hope that waht we DO get in North America isn't 15-minute snippets on "Motorsports Mundial" here and there, followed by "long-delayed" tapes in January of races that ran during the summer....

But even THAT was better than nothing at all....

C'mon, LMES!!!!

Work something out that SpeedChannel can pick up on so that we can enjoy what looks to be a GREAT first season for LMES!!!

Wow, Motors TV just gets better and better (Bathurst, TGP, TOCA, DTM and now this)

And another live series too. I'm a happy bunny.

Motors TV will have 11 hours of live coverage from Sebring, beginning at 15h00. After another scheduled two-hour motorsports telecast at 18h00, MotorsTV will return to live Sebring coverage at 20h00 through the conclusion of the event, including post-race coverage. Live updates from Sebring will be included during the two-hour breakaway.
Double wow!

There is even more good news on the Motor's TV front today, it looks as if they are going to showing all 4 LMES live and in its entirety. Looks like it might be time to get one of those dish's out side the house then......

Time to get Sky if you don't have it chaps. I was on Telewest cable but dumped it for sky digital so I can get both MotorsTV and NASN and i have never looked back. But man are the weekends busy with racing and ice hockey !

Seems you need MotorsTV 'US', as Speed is more of a NASCAR channel now!

In the UK, with the exception of LM we have had very few live sportscar races, in there entirity. Now we have LMES, ALMS, FIAGT.

Motors TV is finally getting into its stride. And no more delays/cancellations due to Curling etc. over running on Eurosport.

Any idea if there is a list of pubs that might be carrying the race? OR anyone want to get together somewhere in North Yorkshire?

Yes, not having to rely on Eurosport's woeful coverage will be good.

All this live LMES and ALMS on Motors TV, almost makes it worth missing last years Le Mans, which forced me into getting a dish. Err! No, what am I saying..... Anyway, will be back at Le Mans this year, and will leave the taping duties to my son, who will be nearly one by then (seems to have figured out the remote control already).

BTW, anyone planning on going to the Silverstone LMES round? Or the FIA-GTs at Donington? Thoroughly recommend the GTs.

Something I cannot succeed to find out on the MotorsTV site : the precise timing of the event...

At which hour does the race start (east coast) ? 11 am ? Noon ?

If I can remember, they talked about a coverage starting at 3 pm in France... that makes 9 am east coast...

Any confirmation ?

Sebring will drop the Green Flag at 10:30 a.m. East Coast time in the USA, so you will be getting 90 minutes of pre-race coverage before the actual race begins...

NICE!!!!
