Ayse, Paul : I thought it was usefull to open a special thread for the qualifications : feel free to delete if you think it's useless.

With the qualifying sessions going on for a good few hours, you'll be trawling through pages and pages of comments.
IMO, the chat room should be used for upto the minute comments and this thread for general comments on qualifying. |

Hmm, I can see your point JAG. But then, I come here for the discussion forums, not the chat room, which is a great part of the site IMO. Just think about how many threads have say over 100 posts on page 1 of this forum alone, nobody really seems to mind, including yourself as u are a major contributior in most of the threads...

When you are talking about something thats changing by the minute, it doesn't really lend itself to a message boards though.
Personally I'd post on this thread, say, every 30 minutes to give my view on the general state of affairs. The chat room I will use the rest of the time. |

I'm going to be following "live Timing & Scoring" and posting in this thread....
I don't have the Java either, so I can't hook into the Chat Room... But you know me.... as others submit their "two cents worth' via comments, I usually submit my "$200 worth".... Thanks for the Separate thread.....I appreciate it... |

If you can't run the java page, don't sweat it. It's better to use a dedicated IRC client anyway.
Look up "freeware IRC clients" and download one. (I'm using mIRC which isn't free, but is trialware for 30 days). Then go to the irc.phishy.net server and join the #motorsport channel. |
