Super-Series II
Super-Series has a planned launch in September(first of two launches)
It will provide a showcase for Rallycross. The classes FIA Division 1 FIA Division 1A FIA Division 2 Supernational(Cars bult to either supermodified or supernational regs) Some of the more modern stockhatch cars, ie Citroen Saxo's, Peugeot 106's, can be used in 1A & 2 Division's,(Most be homologated car) There will be alot of European driver involvement. British Rallycross GP will be a taster of what the Super-Series will be. Super-Series website available soon. |

only one problem with that is that currenlty the 106/saxo is going out of homologation:

Barry, are you involved with the promotion of SuperSeries and do you have any idea about the numbers of drivers that will compete in it. I can't see the proposed Div 1A or Div 2 getting much support which only leaves the Div 1 and Supernational. I would have thought a probable entry would be say 10 Div 1 cars and 20 Supernational. Is this enough for a days racing - just about.
