So, what will the rules for 2006 be?
Not what we want, but what we objectively predict, concerning everything...

Chassis - largely the same as now.
Engines - 2.4l v8. That much is confirmed. There may be some tweaking of the sporting regulations vis-a-vis qualifying and pitstops. |

So can we characterise 2006 (and even 2007) as "transitional period"?

Wasn't it stated that once engine size was reduced traction control would be banned again?

I recall a year or so ago when it was said that traction control would be in place because: 1. The cars would be too dangerous without it. 2. It was impossible to control it. However, supposedly, once the engines got smaller #1 wouldn't be a problem anymore and, with the smaller engines there would be standar ECUs therefore solving #2. It's a shame this discussion was so easily forgotten by the FIA and the Teams. |

Sorry,just a little sarcasm there.
As for TC and ECU's,well nothing is going to change for next year and probably nothing for 2007 either. And as for 2008,well..................... |
