Won't it be British Summer Time? Meaning the race is at 1pm BST, but 12:00 GMT?

How long is the quali session meant to last? And does the inclusion of Super Aguri mean that after the first 20 mins, 16 drivers will be left, and after the second 20 mins, 10 drivers will be left? If not, could someone please explain how it will work?

cos should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Quali will work like this:

Quote:
art one: All 22 cars may run laps at any time during the first 15 minutes of the hour. At the end of the first 15 minutes, the six slowest cars drop out and fill the final six grid places.

Part two: After a five-minute break, the times will be reset and the 16 remaining cars then will then run in a second 15-minute session - again they may complete as many laps as they want at any time during that period. At the end of the 15 minutes, the six slowest cars drop out and fill places 11 to 16 on the grid.

Part three: After another five-minute break, the times are reset and the final 20-minute session will feature a shootout between the remaining 10 cars to decide pole position and the starting order for the top 10 grid places. Again, these cars may run as many laps as they wish.

It's a bit unfortunate that qualifying coincides with an England World Cup match. Still, me being at home on that day, I can't complain

Dixie Flatline should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Half an hour less practice time on the Saturday. Hmm. I'm still dithering over whether to buy grandstand tickets for the Australian Grand Prix and this is going to make it even harder to convince me that it's worth buying. Although I suppose it's made up for by the different qualifying scenario on the Saturday afternoon.

I never thought I'd hear myself type this, but I think I'm actually glad I didn't buy tickets for Silverstone. One practice session on Saturday?! Does nobody listen?! The two sessions were almost the highlight of the weekend, watching everyone build up to qualifying.

To the FIA I say: pah!
