Thnaks for that Cavvy - i assume this would be the same car that Bond ran for a few years after as a 944 then, in white/black/yellow/red porsche colours? (this car here):

(and i also have been looking for a register for the 924GTR's aswell - havent had any luck as yet).
According to the 'Porsche 924' page on Wikipedia, in the table titled '924 Special Production', there were 17 924 Carrera GTR's built, all in 1981. See:
