Unusual Honda B16 stand-off injection set-up!
An explosion waiting to happen..
The injectors spray the fuel from an external position into the TB's and it seems that the spark plugs are where the fuel rail would normally be. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lntXFw5ZCRg&NR=1 The dangers are obvious.. but what are the main advantages? Discuss.. |

THe plugs you see in the normal injector spots are not connected to anything, I do not know why they have them there never heard of a motor with an external combustion chamber except maybe a jet... I think it is just a **** take, in the fist pic, when the air box is on, you can see the orginal injectors wired up.
Running 2 sets of injectors is common enough, inboard and outboard, as per my comment in the other thread So it looks like the plugs are blocking off the original fuel rail holes, at max power some in/outbord injector set ups only use the outer set anyway so max power would not be effected if it was tuned that way |
