Fantastic news. Starting to become a glamorous championship again; bit like what was said here some time ago. A championship with races like the Silverstone Tourist Trophy, the Interlagos Mil Milhas, the Spa 24H. Maybe some more history-related tracks can be brought back in?

Isn't Maserati going to enter the Gran Sport in GT2?

I'd question how many season long entries FIA GT can attract in 2007 with so many long haul events.

You question anything FIAGT related so it's absolutely not of a surprise to me.

I don't want to see it happen again! You can't grow from a European regional series to a world championship in little over two years without major manufactuer backing and a large sponsorship infrastructure supporting the series. Is there even a TV deal for 2006? |

You could argue quite easily that the manufacturer input from Porsche and Mercedes destroyed the original ethos of the BPR and diluted the series, leaving privateers with nothing competitive to run in 98. |

fantastic, I saw them in Spa and Nuerburgring and the progress was amazing, of course triggered by the driver choice as well.

Hot from DSC; Renauer will enter 2 RSR's for the full season, driven by Wolfgang Kaufmann, Manfred Jurasz, Claus Schunk and Petr Valek, joined by former skiier Hans Knauss.

I read also the news on DSC but I’m still doubtful that it will be two RSR´s as the team owns two RS´s, which also appeared sometimes (wrongly) this year in the entry lists as RSR´s. |

I know FIAGT messes that up all the time, but at DSC they do know the differences. But we'll see it soon I guess. Maybe Ed or Graham know more about this?
