Bowe Returns To Djr

Judging by rumour and inuendo regarding DJR drivers for next year and comments seen on another forum and the nice comments John has for this team all the time like he will admit he should never have left in the first place i feel a return next year is on the cards partenering junior and andy taking his place at BJR

Nup disagree totally, BJR was a great move for Bowe, there cars have been as good if not better than DJR over the past few years and he's proved himself to be more than a good steerer with whats at hand. Compared to the efforts of Briggs.. lets not go there though. If Bowe goes anywhere my tip would be FPR. He's happy with Melbourne

But BJR was a step up from Briggs, which was a step down from DJR...should have stayed on the same step...

Since Bowe has been at BJR, they have become a more competitive team...arguably, DJR would not have slipped had he stayed...all speculation of course...

Whether Bowe made a step up or down after DJR really is irrelevant - the manner in which he left DJR and the perceived 'traitor' that Dick made Bowe out to be means whilst Dick is involved with the team it is approximately 100% certain he wouldn't be welcome back there again.

Oh I don't know, sometimes time heals wounds and maybe in reflection Dick can understand why bowe left. With Bowe still being quick despite being a geezer and having the skills to develop a car, I'm sure many teams including DJR would love to have him.

My sources indicate that this isn't the case with Dick - the further he sees him away from the team seems to please Dick more.

And isn't the saying really 'Time wounds all heals'?

These days, it would bring out the safety car and right-on-by motors the whole field, thanks very much.

Dick Johnson was disappointed when john Bowe left DJR but Dick and Bowe are still on good terms. In fact Bowe was very close to rejoining DJR again last year but DJR went for youth instead

When JB had a celebration last year or the year before (Can't remember what for, a milestone birthday or race probably), most of the BJR crew was there, as well as Dick. BTW, John Briggs was no-where to be seen.

I think it might have been John Bowe's wedding.

With the signing of Seton as the lead driver, that would be about the death of this suggestion wouldn't it?
