Goodyear was been trying to get back into F1 since 2001. FACT!

But without a contract with a top team, whats the point. They tried to team up with Mclaren at the end of 2001 and develop a tyre for 2003/2004, but Mclaren went to Michelin....And Michelin are ofcourse KAK!

Yup, different tyres on all the cars would make for unpredictable and exciting Grand Prix Racing really worthy of the name.
Imagine if testing were to be limited (by venue rather than time), and there were numerous tyre manufacturers...

Of course with increased competition between tyre manufacturers the FIA has a responsibility on safety grounds to reduce the loads being transferred through the tyres during cornering. Removing the downforce would easily solve that.

And, a refuelling ban was in my dream too.
