Hopeless Heidfeld
I can't believe that some people actually thought Williams were going to sign this loser!

Can someone please tell me what he has done that is worth mentioning in his five years in F1?

** One 3rd place a few years back
** Matched Raikkonen ( but Kimi was in his debut season )

and is that it??? :confused:

Why on earth would any top team look twice at Heidfeld??

He doesen't deserve another year IMHO. He has looked poor compared to Pantano this season, when you consider that Georgio is just a rookie pay driver himself...

Heidfeld has been an F3000 champion, and has done as well in F1 as his cars have allowed.

Pantano is a lot better than many people think - his improving form reflects well on him, rather than badly on Heidfeld.

He was looking like the best thing since sliced bread a few years ago......but now he's pretty much just toast.

Kliens the best looking prospect from this seasons crop.

Heidfeld was my tip for the Williams seat....and he would've deserved it. He has had a stonker this year.

I must admit, I had been underwhelmed by him for a while, but this year he proved me wrong to the extent that I would have been delighted to see him in a front-line seat.
