Having now seen the results on crash.net and elsewhere, there were some strange things going on. For instance, Green was over 4 seconds behind at the flag, so did he lose heart after being overtaken or did he have a problem? He took fastest lap very comfortably.
And whilst Rossiter did brilliantly to come through to 4th from dead last at the beginning of the day, his fastest lap in the in the final was nothing special, so how?!? In other news, Lucas Di Grassi was given a 25 second penalty for overtaking under the Safety Car, which knocked him back from 8th on the road to 19th in the results, unless he appeals and is successful. As someone has already said, it must have been a heck of a race. |

What's to be confused about? He messed up so was given a penalty. C'est la vie!

Wow, Lewis went up to 4th already in first lap
Jamie was going to win without the safety-car by Ho-Pin Tung |

What about john ohara starting last and finishing 14th 11 seconds behind the leader. He never even drove a dallara before and did a fantastic job
John O'Hara avoided the accidents and drove with aggression to move up from 31st to 14th in his AF3 Prize Drive TME Dallara TOM'S car. Lewis Hamilton took a last gasp win from Nico Rosberg and Jamie Green. O'Hara finished in front of many more fancied runners to demonstrate that the Asian F3 Series can develop competitive drivers. "John had no seat time in a Dallara 304 car, which is very different from his usual car, but he has adapted very quickly and we are very happy with his performance" said AF3 Chairman, Eddie Pena. |

The "11 seconds behind the leader" stat for O'Hara is flattered by the fact that there was a safety car in the closing laps.
But a solid drive from him none-the-less. |

Yes indeed KB. A great result both for Hamilton and Green, I wonder if Hamilton can emulate Green next year and take the 2005 F3 Euro Series championship now that Green has moved into the DTM. Good result for James Rossiter too, hes really starting to come good.

How did both Hamilton and Rosberg get passed Green after the safety car, under normal circumstances i can't think of a driver i'd rather have in F3 in that situation.
