Yes, I think he's the favourite for GP2

I think Lopez may stay and probably Giedo vdg. Kovalainen for sure.

Not sure about duval and d'ambrose-do they deserve to stay? i havent really heard much about them this year?

Does anyone know if they (Renault) will be getting in any more drivers if they do get rid of any?

Kovalainen and López will stay and both will do GP2 next year. I don't know about the rest of current RDD drivers.

But in comparison to v/d Garde, Duval, Franchi and Asmer, DiGrassi was for sure the one who had the best year overall

Just because I haven't had a fight with Bella for a while, I think di Grassi did have a groundbreaking season. Many independent observers have noted that 2004's Hitech was a bit of a cow. Lucas took a number of front row grid slots and podium positions. Virtually every time he retired it was a result of "crazy idiot Dirani" (Lucas's words, not mine) punting him off. And he was 5th in Zandvoort, 3rd in Macau and was looking at a top 10 position in Bahrain until something went wrong.

IMO he's more deserving of RDD support than virtually anyone.

Yes, I agree with you...

Hitech was not strong at all in British F3 this season, but he was still able to make a nice championship. Not that good in points, but he had some nice races.

I heard Dirani crashed him a lot

It was Dirani that budged him off at Brands.

Thruxton was great for Lucas, I really hope he'll stay in Brit F3 in 2005,

And Silverstone!

No chance, I'm afraid, Emma. With his Renault backing he's got to be in World Series or GP2 - I think his SA and Brit experience of F3 was enough for him!

Gaz should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Small piece in this weeks motorsportnews has him moving to the Euroseries in 2005 as very likely.

Doesn't say anymore than that on the subject though.

Would be a real shame if true, I'm going to agree with Mathias here (don't collapse with shock mate!) as I do believe he did a very good job in 2004. I think that he was driving an underpowered car compared to some of the others. Something wasn't quite right anyway as I expected more from him and Marko Asmer in particular. I think their efforts were being masked by poor machinery and would like to see them both in Mugen-Honda or Opel-Spiess motors in 05 to get an impression for how good they both really are.

I thought maybe Giorgio Mondini would be in the programme winning the FRV6?

Doh!
Now I haven't got anybody to support (that I know and like) in Brit F3! Jees, unless Dirani stays which is pretty unlikely.

Yes, Emma, but the point of F3 is that you find someone new to support each year.
